Lewis has earned, with honors, a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting/business from North Dakota State University and a Bachelor of Arts music degree, including a mathematics minor, from Concordia College-Moorhead. He has also completed numerous credits in the Masters in Business Taxation program at the University of Minnesota.
